45 minutes later and the next morning!

I posted a blog with pictures of our snow here in Alabama on Sunday.
These were taken 45 minutes after the pictures in the blog. I tried to take areas that I had put in my blog so you could see the difference. The last one was taken when I left work on Monday morning ~ Our Winter Wonderland was gone.
As you can tell we don't get snow very often and not much when we do
(There are pictures posted from March 8, 2008 of snow flurries we had then.)
Of course, I had to include my Buddy!

  10. Thank you, John.... you know give Buddy a few squirrels, a raccoon or two, a couple of toys and Mama outside playing.... he is a happy camper! (For some reason the squirrels were not bothered by the snow.. they still came out to give him a fun time!

  11. I think maybe, Gary, he was put out with me running around making pictures and not playing with him.... our big thing is I throw the toy... he runs after it... than won't let me get it back to throw it again...BUT if I act like I am giving up...he will give it back to me to throw! He is so funny!

  18. Cathy, I just know it is so beautiful to look at ~ how I wish my camera (or the nut behind it) would find a way to catch it falling on camera! I bet you could post a lot of beautiful snow pictures! The picture you are talking about is of my neighbors walk.

  21. lol...yeah this is true. I'm sitting here in FL in 60 degree highs and claiming how cool snow is and how I wish I could have a day of it. I could never live in it though!

  24. That's the way our snow is...here today, and gone tomorrow.. We only had about a inch or so this winter, but then it quickly melted.. Our usual snow fall for the winter...Once or twice, and then gone. Elevation just too low for snow, but we do have more on the nearby mountains.

  26. They are very strong... I guess I never realized how much before. This morning, although it started out in the low twenty's we have plenty of sunshine and they are bright yellow... (a little lower to the ground. I think). The dog is mine... he is my Buddy!

  27. Thank you. I like it too... I liked it because of all the snow just clinging to each stem!

  28. The "and then gone" is probably a good part... makes it more special and so much fun, but not a lot of work! Getting so excited for you and the lovely lady... counting the days for you!

  29. Thank you, like I told Gary.. didn't think like a real photographer... just kept shooting and hoping the snow coming down would show... just doesn't with my camera... don't know why! You know this made it not so far from you... well, give or take 500 miles ~ lol

  32. I know the feeling Linda. I haven't seen it snow here in the two years I've been here except for a brief dusting a year ago December. Sun came out an hour after it stopped and in a couple hours was all gone. It went from 30 to 72 just like that.
