PICTURE PERFECT FRIDAY ~ SAFE

Another fun week from the

Picture Perfect Team!

Our host this week is CHERIE

and the word she has chosen is:

 SAFE
(Definition: 1. Secure from danger, harm, or evil.
2. Free from danger or injury; unhurt: safe and sound.
3. Free from risk; sure: a safe bet.
4. Affording protection: a safe place.
4. Baseball. Having reached a base without being put out, as a batter or base runner.)

but that's not what ships are for."

As a heart is safe locked away,
but than that is not what hearts are for!

"In Your Eyes"

Photobucket

"My feelings locked inside
I made myself an island
Trying to take my heart and hide
I built a wall around me
Afraid of letting go
But suddenly an open door
I never saw before"

Photobucket

In your eyes (your eyes)
I see the light
Leading me home again
It's heaven in your arms, my love
My heart is in your hands
(Heaven in your arms, your eyes)
In your eyes, seems so right
I see forever in your smile
This woman is a child again

Photobucket...........Photobucket..........Photobucket

Love's been building bridges
Between your heart and mine
I'm safe here on my island
But I'm out on the edge this time
I built a wall around me
Thought I'd save myself the pain
Your touch swept me away
Now I'll never play it safe again

  4. Ashley just said....why are your eyes crying?

Because Ashley....I don't remember how to take that first step onto the bridge off the island.....but I have someone who is waiting to hold my hand and walk over it with me.

With God all things are possible and He gave us friends for those times when we need a swift kick in the pants to move us past our fear of that first step....the last one... or any of the in between ones.
