Through faith we understand

that the worlds were framed

so that things which are seen

were not made of things

which do appear.

  4. The most beautiful bouquet of flowers I ever received were "wildflowers" picked on the side of the road by a young beau because he wanted me to have flowers but we didn't have enough money for such things. Life happened and we were separated by circumstances and time. Twenty five years later we connected again through the internet. I reminded him of those flowers he stopped and picked each friday after work on his three hour commute back to me and he remembered each flower and knew their names....the ones I remembered best was this purple thistle. ....we were separated again but it's something I will always treasure....and although we were not meant to be together always and I can't see what the plan is I have faith that all is as it should be in each of our lives. The faith book of the bible as I like to call Hebrews is my very favorite and this is my favorite chapter and verse of that book....thank you for the reminder that although we can't see everything ...faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen...something I seem to have forgotten lately.

  5. Simple, complex...perfect. I love the song you picked for this as well. I am an Elvis fan. Quite honestly I have never been a religiously faithful person...I don't intend to get into that here, but lately I've been believing a bit more. Some things have happened lately that put me in a place that I had no recourse for getting out of. I prayed. He heard. He has delivered several Angels to my doorstep. I felt I had reached MY rock bottom, and He reached in and pulled me out and provided me with the will, and the means (some other things have happened since that tear filled night) to pull myself out.

  11. Your picture reminds me of the thistles and dandelions that grew in the field by the school.Every spring as the "flowers" would come out, I would be the recipent of a bouquet of flowers. Grubby little hands would offer up these precious flowers to me. It was like recieving a bundle of roses. I would go to the cafeteria and get a glass fill it with water and add my precious dandelions and thistles... The most percious gift from my students would take their place on my desk.... They were replaced daily ... a great memory, thank you for that.

I love the shape and colours of thistles too.
You have chosen a thistle and not for example a rose...that was intentionally, right?

what a good quote you have posted from the bible. your image of a thistle, and not for example of a rose, is probably done for a reason! love embraces everything and everyone.

  30. wonderful words spelt over here from the messages of god, nature a stage where HE plays his drama?

Thanks for the encouragement. To be honest I am not eligible to participate as I do not know to hold a camera. Some one in the family does and just I theme if any of my photographs suits the theme. That too amongst professional photographer forum well it is a momentum I get when I have chance to see so many good photographers take on immediately on a leather hunt to make good the opportunity.
