MJ is hosting this week
and she has given us a
fun challenge!
The challenge is to write a poetry composed of
five words for the first line,
three words on the second
and five again on the last.
Rhyming or not,
doesn't matter either what your topic is.

ReplyDeleteVery peaceful & thoughtful, Linda! Good to see such creativity away over there in Alabama. (-:
ReplyDeleteYou adopted Lumba-Lumba (literally: Race-race — we get lumba-lumba hidung botol down here around Perth or Albany) as a mascot for a particular purpose, or just liked the image?
And now I know what a lune is too!
ReplyDeletethe music, the phot and the genuine simplicity of the words make this a very tender and touching poem. It is beautiful and so endearing. You have my tears.

Me is big smile, too.
ReplyDeleteI memorized your poem and will quote that in my creative writing class.
How cool is that? ^&^
I just talked to John on the phone.... I told him you put the biggest smile on my face!!! It is nice to have fun with these things and that is reward enough!!!! But when I was someones student, I wrote all the time ~ poems (of course, way back then they all rhymed ~ lol), stories... had it in my head that I was going to be a writer for a living for the rest of my life... but than I became something even better (a wife and a mother).... and somewhere in life the writing was never developed and somehow my vocabulary was not challenged... Not complaining... actually grateful for those memories as I wrote... but you brought the kid out in me again.... thank you.
ReplyDeleteAnd quote it to your class ~ omg ~ yes the face is smiling so big it may crack!!! (Big Hug)
You are a jewel!!!
That's my sister, how proud.. Love you.. me
ReplyDeleteCongratulation, Linda. That is very beautiful... Good job & big hugs!
