Poetry Posse ~ Week 31 (5/3/5)

MJ is hosting this week
and she has given us a
fun challenge!

The challenge is to write a poetry composed of
five words for the first line,
three words on the second
and five again on the last.
Rhyming or not,
doesn't matter either what your topic is.

Reflecting on days long past,
Thinking, I pause...
To find cherished memories remain.

  4. Truly words of comfort. When I can't see tomorrow I can look back and find it again. The reason to keep going.

  7. Very peaceful & thoughtful, Linda! Good to see such creativity away over there in Alabama. (-:

You adopted Lumba-Lumba (literally: Race-race — we get lumba-lumba hidung botol down here around Perth or Albany) as a mascot for a particular purpose, or just liked the image?

  14. I just talked to John on the phone.... I told him you put the biggest smile on my face!!! It is nice to have fun with these things and that is reward enough!!!! But when I was someones student, I wrote all the time ~ poems (of course, way back then they all rhymed ~ lol), stories... had it in my head that I was going to be a writer for a living for the rest of my life... but than I became something even better (a wife and a mother).... and somewhere in life the writing was never developed and somehow my vocabulary was not challenged... Not complaining... actually grateful for those memories as I wrote... but you brought the kid out in me again.... thank you.
And quote it to your class ~ omg ~ yes the face is smiling so big it may crack!!! (Big Hug)
    You are a jewel!!!
