PICTURE PERFECT FRIDAY ~ OFF THE BEATEN PATH

PICTURE PICTURE FRIDAY

Our hostess this week is CHERIE

and the theme she has given us is:

OFF THE BEATEN PATH

To Join in the fun,

Just click on the link below:

Off The Beaten Path.... What a great theme!

My first thought was of the last trip I made with John to Northern California.

You may recognize the cave from prettier shots that John has posted,

but in this one you could see the rocks all the way to the entrance.

No Path here for sure! (And that is the only way to get where we were!)

The Cave itself is Off The Beaten Path

but to get down to where the picture was taken you had to make your own way!

Photobucket

Jot Dean Cave

A neat place to be Off The Beaten Path!

(But than being Off The Beaten Path is usually neat!)

  6. Linda this is an amazing shot. I am not posting this week again. We had gotten off the beaten path of our lives. Pauls wife's granddaddy had a heart attack so we have our Hayden with us. Will be back soon. Much Love. Tell John it won't be long till he's taking You and I and Russ off of one of those beaten paths of his. Hugs

  23. I agree with Mitch but it so cool to have the light coming into the darkness. This music is so relaxing! I could hang out here for hours!

  24. The only way in and the only way out that I know of Mitchy! Claustrophobic I never felt but I was standing when I took the picture and there was lots of room.... we did go a little farther in but after going through an opening you had to crawl through (just right though....) It opened up into an area large enough to walk around in (if there hadn't have been lots of rocks and ice!)

Nicely composed too, in that you only hint at the adventure ahead.
