A Self Portrait

 

Nothing is more disordered than my life

and my mind right now...

Raccoons in the attic..

The love of my life 2400 miles away,

as is my best friend..

BUT

maybe you see the smile in that mind..

for what a blessing that I have an attic

a love and a best friend...

    I DO see the "smile in that eye"....and its beautiful!!!! I know what you mean about the raccoons in the attic (she says as she sits here listening to the squirrels running above her head~~in the floorboards between our apt and the one upstairs!!!) LOL

    They say the eyes are the window to our souls.....your eyes show the peace in your soul even with the raccoons in the attic. A night with no sleep....a morning keeping me from jumping off the dog house roof.....and how hard you are trying to be here for John and me....and there for your patients and family... yes they show a tiny bit of tiredness but mostly kindness, compassion, humor and love....yes it proves the eyes truly are the window to the soul.

    That is a very out of the box entry. Raccoons in the attic made me laugh, better than bats in the belfry eh lol You have very nice eyes or should I say eye !! I see the smile :)

    I snuck into my neighbors yard last spring and snapped a picture of her lovely flowers! ROFL I then used The Gimp and made my background picture! It was a happy accident as I didn't know it would come out like that. Well to say the least I loved it. LOL

    I have looked into those eyes and I have seen much love. When you are in a room your eyes light up and your soul is a free soul. Your love is unconditional and your faith to the ones you love is true.
