Picture Perfect Friday ~ Anticipation

Can't thank Heather too much for all this fun.

So many people coming together and sharing so much.

And a really big thank you to our hostess, Cherie,

whose heart, smile and writing talents bless us on a daily basis.

This picture was made in December of 2006

(with my Kodak Z740 digital camera)

when I made a visit to Orange Beach, Florida for a few days.

It was taken from the balcony of the Island Beach Hotel.

I had awakened before the sun as I so often do, made coffee

and taken it out to the balcony to watch the day arrive,

to enjoy all the beauty and the solitude of it's beginning.

Early morning is my favorite time of day.

Sitting with coffee or walking around the lake

surround by birds flying overhead and beauty,

the solitude, the sun peeking over the horizon.

I am full of Anticipation for the day ahead
