Once again a big thanks to Heather (A Slow Read) for starting and hosting Picture Perfect Friday!!!
Historic Natchez Trace is an ancient worn path
that began as a Native American trail and has a
rich history of use by explorers, "Kaintuck" boatmen,
post riders, and military men.
Ever wonder what it's like to hike on the Old Trace?
(That historic stretch of roadway that today is merely
a worn down foot and horse path in the few places
that remain.)
I have done a small portion of it and it was so beautiful
and so rich with history. Did this in April 2006 with
an old friend of mine and this was one of the pictures
I took with my Kodak Z740 digital camera.
May each one of you take a few steps
in the right direction on your chosen paths
and may your weekend be a great one!
