Picture Perfect Friday ~ Blue

I Want to thank our hostess Heather (A Slow Read) for starting and continuing to bring so many friends and people together to share in this fun.

Each week Heather will post a theme in her blast,

(on Wednesday or so)

and each Friday you get to post your photo's on your own sites with that theme in mind.

The rules:

Every Friday there will be a common theme ("A Slow Read"

posts the theme each week in her blast). Post one

photo only in your blog that is related to the theme.

Of course, it doesn't have to be a direct representation

of the theme, but should in some way be your interpretation

of it. When you are on other pages that have an entry

in Picture Perfect, leave your comment and they can

follow your picture to your entry.

The story behind my blue ~ picture was taken in Florida in 2006

on a visit to my Mom's and with my Kodak Z740 when it was new.

The pelican was cute but what I loved was the way the water caught

the sunlight and sparkled. To this day it is about my favorite picture

I have ever made (if you leave out the ones of the grandchildren).

Come along, come with me,
Take a dive in the deep blue sea.
Put on your gear, let's explore
All the way to the ocean floor!

See that snail wrapped in cursl?
Look! An oyster wearing pearls!
Watch the octopus oh so dark,
But don't you dare to pet the shark!

Dive on down, seaward bound,
Motion in the ocean is all around!
Dive on down, seaward bound.

Now we're very far below,
The lantern fish are all aglow.
Is that a tiny shock you feel?
You just met an electric eel!

Giant blue whales start to stir,
Bigger than dinosaurs ever were!
Wave good-bye to the squid and sponge,
This is the end of our deep-sea plunge!
